flight information

our trip date is september 18 - 22. please plan to arrive at cabilla at 4.00pm on september 18th.

you can fly into newquay airport (NQY) but may find taking a train to bodmin parkway station is the best option if coming from bermuda and flying into heathrow, as there is a train there from paddington station that leaves multiple times a day. transportation to our retreat will be provided for you from newquay airport or bodmin parkway train station.

if you are leaving the country as soon as the retreat ends, book your flight for any time on tuesday, september 22nd as this is a travel day.

packing list

this will be updated closer to our trip, but you'll get the gist of what you'll need below!

do you think you can pack for a week in a carry on? i bet you can! bringing a carry on makes getting in and out of the airport easier, makes unpacking + repacking easier, and removes the worry about lost luggage! let's see how creative you can be simple outfits you can mix + match throughout the week. worried about shopping and not having enough room? maybe pack a duffel for more space the way home! (this isn't a requirement, just suggestion)

the dress code in greece is euro casual -- shorts, skirts, tees + tanks for the daytime, and think casual dressy for dinners. consider a light layer for our morning practices and evenings, as well as boat afternoon, as early summer in europe can still be a little cooler.

what to bring:

  • t-shirts + tanks

  • shorts + light // linen pants

  • dresses

  • light long sleeve shirt or sweater for layering

  • comfortable sandals // flip flops

  • comfortable and sturdy tennis shoes for hike

  • undergarments

  • pyjamas + loungewear

  • nice but casual outfits for dinners out

  • white outfit for last evening

  • sarong or scarf for cover up or extra warmth in the evenings

  • water bottle

  • yoga leggings // bottoms (2-3)

  • yoga tops (2-3)

  • bathing suits

  • sunscreen + sunnies

  • hat

  • personal toiletries

  • chargers for electronics (euro converter needed)

  • beach towel or sarong

  • your own yoga mat if you love it (mats are provided if you don't want to bring it)

  • a little bit of cash --> cards are accepted most places, and you can certainly get euros from an atm. keep in mind you might want a bit of cash for tips

  • your favorite pen // writing utensil

  • day bag // belt bag

when in doubt, pack smart, comfortable, and simple!
